a couple of weekends ago, a group of friends and family helped make this seemingly distant event become very, very real to me with each word of encouragement i received as well as with each baby blue item i unwrapped.
this is actually happening. and it's time to celebrate...
the spread... |
the amazing cake...it matches evan's nursery! |
the gift centerpiece |
the onesie says "I roll with Jesus" with a stroller on it! |

i'm so thankful for everyone who has sent me such kind words of encouragement and sent up prayers on our behalf for baby evan and my pregnancy. we are blessed by you.
I love that name.... Only a few more weeks to go.
ReplyDeleteit has been awhile since I last check out your blog but I was following during your last few weeks of pregnancy with Jonathan and after his birth. Your optimism in spite of such tradegy and the fact that you thank God in all things is so inspiring. I decided this morning I would check it out again and I was so excited when I saw the pics of the shower and read the news about Baby Evan! Congrats! God is good all the time.
ReplyDeleteIt is so good seeing these pictures of celebration. Isn't it wonderful to have something to be joyful about again! I am so thrilled for you and I cannot wait to see the photos of Ethan when he arrives! Blessings, Katie
ReplyDeleteHe may be measuring ahead, but you are itty bitty and AH-DOR-AH-BLE!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!
Praying, praying, praying for Ailyah's (sp?) family...
