This is the story of our precious baby boy, who was diagnosed prenatally at 17 weeks with a fatal chromosome disorder called Trisomy 13. Although Jonathan's condition is considered "not compatible with life", we desired to give him every chance at life. Our prayer is that those who are touched by our story are drawn to God, who is Life Himself. John 14:6 To start at the beginning of our story, click here.
I can't wait to meet your beautiful baby boy through your pictures! You're strength with the news you have been given is incredible. Your trust and love of the Lord is something that will help you, and it's amazing that you are able to see this in your time of need. Please keep trusting in Him. I am earnestly praying that God will continue to give you comfort and strength as the time gets closer and that HIS will be done! You are an amazing woman! Please give your belly a rub for me! He is one lucky little dude! Thinking of you! Jillian Duda
I found your blog through livingwithtrisomy13.org the day before my husband Ethan and I received the confirmed diagnosis of full T13 through the amnio. I want to let you know what a blessing it has been to read over your blog, to learn that someone else shared my feelings of guilt and worry, then of acceptance and comfort through God's grace. I didn't think I would ever post a comment, but I read this entry and thought what a sweet coincidence that we both share our birthday with our baby's 25th week mark...to the day. I will turn 25 on Friday, the very same day little Ezekiel will be 25 weeks. Keeping you and your family in my prayers. =)
