please take a moment to watch this family's trisomy 13 story, as reported by the dallas morning news just this past week. i can't help but wonder if our story will be like this. even some of the things this mother says about their experience and beliefs are similar to things i have expressed here on our blog. it's just another way of knowing that we are not alone on this journey.

lauren, matt and i watched this and we are praying for ya'll as you prepare for this. i am so sorry you and greg have to go through this...i will pray for strength for you b/c i know it must be hard and exhausting. i know God is doing so much in your hearts and in those around you. i know for me, at least, i am convicted...thinking of your situation has brought me to my knees in prayer for you, families like yours, and for my own family...i will continue to pray for you-that in His own way He will prepare you for what is ahead with jonathan and that you will continue to have peace in trusting Him and His will.

I am so sorry you are having to go through this, and also that the family in the video had to go through this as well. I, too, am due in November, and this is my first child. We are having a baby girl and I can't imagine how you are feeling right now.
ReplyDeleteFinally watched this yesterday and Curtis watched with me - we both cried. It was so sweet though to see it and gave me such hope for you guys of having Jonathan for even a little while after his birth. Thomas was so precious and beautiful as I know Jonathan will be also. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletethat was beautiful and I can only pray you get to hold your baby as long as they did. It was heartwretching to watch but you could see how much thomas was loved, I know jonathan is just as loved. I wish you the best and send all my families prayers your way.
