This is the story of our precious baby boy, who was diagnosed prenatally at
17 weeks with a fatal chromosome disorder called Trisomy 13. Although
Jonathan's condition is considered "not compatible with life", we desired to give
him every chance at life. Our prayer is that those who are touched by our story
are drawn to God, who is Life Himself. John 14:6

  1. Hi Lauren
I'm not even quite sure how I found your blog, but I grew up in FWB, went to Pryor and Choctaw. My husband is in the Air Force, and we now live in Tucson Az. I'm currently pregnant w/ our 5th baby, and have always liked following people's blogs to see where we're all at during our pregnancies...when you wrote your ultrasound diagnosis I was devastated, it could've been us going through this.

Prayers to you throughout the rest of your pregnancy!

  2. Lauren & Greg,
Thanks for sharing this extremely difficult time of your lives with everyone. I read your blog whenever there is an update. I cry and pray everytime. My heart breaks for you and your precious Jonathan. Your faith through this so far has been an amazement and encouragement to me. I know that you are going to be able to touch so many lives because of this, as I am sure you already have. I am so glad that I can share in this with you guys. You are all constantly on my heart and mind. I am so glad that you have sweet little Kate to keep you happy and smiling. She is a huge blessing I am sure. Let us know if you need anything.

Your blog has been an amazing encouragement to me and i am so blessed to have such an amazing sister, brother in law, neice and nephew. Your words have brought closer to God and i pray that it will do the same for others who share in this journey with you. I miss you guys and am extremely saddened by the news about Jonathan, but i am hopeful for what God has in store. Love you guys!

  5. Hi Neighbor :)
I should just walk two doors down and introduce myself to you. I was talking to Allison tonight and she shared your story with me. I found your blog and have read it "cover to cover." Thanks for being so open with sharing your story, and please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. Kate is welcome to come over and play any day!

  6. Lauren,
Thanks so much for being open & sharing w/those of us who feel connected to you & your journey. I lost a baby when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant & just know my thoughts & prayers are w/you! God did not make any mistakes creating Jonathon exactly the way He did. Your walking this out in obedience to Christ will reap many blessings from your Heavenly Father. Keep walking girl!
