dear friends,
i sit here with unspeakable joy in what the Lord allowed us to experience yesterday in 40 minutes. it was so much more than we could have ever imagined. jonathan was so beautiful and so peaceful. i can't wait to share the story and photos with you, when the time is right.
for now, greg and i just want you to know how much we appreciate you and your faithful prayers for us. just since yesterday, we have received over 250 emails and messages of love and support. your messages to us have brought much healing amidst heartache. we have read them and wept with thankfulness, because it is another reminder to us just how much baby jonathan's life has been a blessing to others. please know that while we won't be able to respond to every message, they mean so much to us. thank you for taking the time to write to us or comment on the blog.
with love and gratitude,
lauren and greg

Dear Lauren & Greg,
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite sure how I found your blog, but I will give credit where credit is due, to God. You have been in my prayers since I read your story and I will continue to pray as you go through this experience. Your strength, faith, and faithfulness is encouraging and uplifting. Back in July of this year my mother was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. After thorough testing the disease was found in her entire body; literally from her head to her toes, with the exception of her colon and intestines. And the most incredible part of the situation is that she has never smoked!! Learning to trust God in this entire situation has become a necessity. Some days are easier than others, but it is the harder days when I feel His grip the tighest. Thank you for sharing your story and your faith. I am praying for you and your family, and for other lives to be touched because of the wonderful life God has given to Jonathan.
