This is the story of our precious baby boy, who was diagnosed prenatally at 17 weeks with a fatal chromosome disorder called Trisomy 13. Although Jonathan's condition is considered "not compatible with life", we desired to give him every chance at life. Our prayer is that those who are touched by our story are drawn to God, who is Life Himself. John 14:6 To start at the beginning of our story, click here.
What a testimony of faith and a lesson for all of us on how to handle life! I am praying for you today that sweet baby Jonathan is born alive and that you are able to hold and snuggle him! Praying also that you feel God's amazing love and peace surrounding you on this day.
Lauren- I am praying for you guys...for a safe delivery, for Jonathan to be born alive, for time with him, and for His peace to be with you. Soak it all in and enjoy every second, minute, hour or day that you are blessed to spend with your precious son.
Sending love and hugs your way... Tami, Angeliyah's Mommy www.livingwithtrisomy13.org/MemoriesofAngeliyah
I just read your blog. We have a mutual friend, is the way I heard about your story. My best friend's niece was born in December with Trisomy 13. By some miracle she is still alive. She has even went through open heart surgery. I was told our now 9 month daughter would have Trisomy 18, also not compatible with life. After all the testing they just said oops. I am so amazed at the faith you have in Christ and the love you have for your not yet born son. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
Praying for you each and all...for our Father's best on your behalf. Knowing you are wrapped in His strong and loving arms we know you will be okay. You've stood so strong in your faith and pliable in His hands. Your witness has been amazing as you have walked it out before each of us who has been following your journey through this blog. Jonathan is precious and I am praying you have sweet, sweet time with him. Our family knows how precious it can be. IN His Amazing Love and Peace, Ahma Sue in TN
