This is the story of our precious baby boy, who was diagnosed prenatally at
17 weeks with a fatal chromosome disorder called Trisomy 13. Although
Jonathan's condition is considered "not compatible with life", we desired to give
him every chance at life. Our prayer is that those who are touched by our story
are drawn to God, who is Life Himself. John 14:6

God's Miracle

Jonathan Tomaschko passed away and went to be with his LORD and SAVIOR.

Jonathan lived for 40 mintues!

  3. My first words upon reading this post was "Thank God!!! Thank you God for letting the Tomaschko family have time with Jonathan". Then I thought about the 40 minutes he was with us this side of heaven and I had to praise God again for this precious sign. Just as Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days, so was it with baby Jonathan's time. The number 40. Thank you God for letting us know you are here with all of us, especially with Jonathan's family. Praise be to you!

  6. Lauren you have been on my mind all day as i have prayed solo and with everyone i can reach that this miracle of johnathan being born alive today would come forth. Praise be to god. Now i pray as Johnathan watches over you, Greg and Katie that you feel his gods peace and presence over you in this dark hour. Now you have lots of people praying for you and you have been a strong witness for god and gods love.

  8. Praise God we don't have to mourn as those with no hope. I thank God he was born alive and you were able to have some time with him!! God is so good to answer your prayer and your desire in that. You will be without Jonathan here on earth, but you will get to spend eternity worshiping our GREAT God and Savior right next to Jonathan!! Please know that my family is praying for you all, and that God will comfort you,as only He can.

  11. You do not know me, but I will always remember Jonanthan and the remarkable journey that you as a family have embarked on together. I thank God for giving Jonathan the strength to hold on, for gifting this family with an answered prayer for time to know their baby boy, and for the strength and faith needed to say goodbye when Jonathan was called home to be with our Lord and Savior.     Praying for God's peace that passes all understanding to surround you tonight...may you feel His presence as He surrounds you with His love in the midst of your sorrow.

    It has been 2 years and 4 months since I lay alone in a hospital bed grieving the loss of my own child...having walked on the road that you are on right now, if there were only one thing I could say to you, it would be that GOD IS FAITHFUL. He will not leave you or forsake you, even in the darkest of all valleys.
