This is the story of our precious baby boy, who was diagnosed prenatally at
17 weeks with a fatal chromosome disorder called Trisomy 13. Although
Jonathan's condition is considered "not compatible with life", we desired to give
him every chance at life. Our prayer is that those who are touched by our story
are drawn to God, who is Life Himself. John 14:6

Jonathan's ALIVE!!!

We are Celebrating the Birth of Jonathan Tomaschko!

Jonathan was born alive a little after 7:00 pm on October 8, 2009!

Mommy and Jonathan are doing great!

Kate just went in to meet her little brother Jonathan! Grandparents just went in to meet their Grandson!

On behalf of the Tomaschko's and extended family they greatly appreciate your prayers for a smooth and safe delivery. And for praying in unison with them that he would be born alive. God answered our prayers. Praise Him!!!

Please continue to pray for Jonathan and his health.

Please pray that Lauren, Greg and Kate would have sweet extended time with their precious little miracle, Jonathan.

I will update with weight, length, etc as we know more about Jonathan.

  1. PRAISE THE LORD!!!! I have been checking the blog all day for updates! :)

Oh, Father, thank you for this glorious time! We give you ALL the honor and glory and praise for bringing this sweet angel boy into the world. We don't know the plans You have for him, but it doesn't matter because You are in control. You, Father, who placed the stars in the heavens breathed life into this child tonight. We praise you, Lord!

As the Tomaschko family celebrates, I pray for continued time with them to share with each other. Father, every moment that You allow them is another moment to praise you. And when you call this sweet boy home, Lord, we will praise you even more because we know its then that he will be in Your arms!!

  3. Lauren, I am so happy that you got to hold your sweet Jonathan in your arms. I can only imagine what you must be going through right now, but God is watching over you and is holding Jonathan in his arms right now. Prayers were answered and Jonathan knows how much his mommy loves him. God Bless You and family.
